NEWSLETTER # 6
March 2009
This month of March, we celebrate the
Virtue of Kindness.
An Irish Blessing
May God give you …
For every storm,
a rainbow,
For every tear,
a smile,
For every care,
a promise,
And an answer,
for each prayer.
Amen.
God wants us to be kind to everyone we
meet. Being kind is about more than just
pretending to be nice. It is about helping
and playing with others because we want to
and not because we feel we have to.
Every person in our lives carries the Spirit of
God, and so every person is our brother or
sister through Jesus Christ. As brothers
and sisters who share one Holy Spirit, we
are all valuable to God.
Kindness can only be seen through actions.
A Kind Person …
 gives their time to help others
 stands by their friends in time of
need
 is polite
 cares about other people’s feelings
Mother Teresa said “Kind words can be
short and easy to speak, but their echoes
are truly endless.”
