Mott Community College is now utilizing
a system to rapidly communicate with
students, faculty and staff in the event
of an emergency.
In addition to sending emergency alerts to anyone with a College-provided email account, MCC has the capability of sending
communications via voice mail and text messages to home, work
and/or cellular telephones.
In order to receive emergency text messages and voice mail alerts,
you must provide emergency contact information by following
these simple steps:
1.On the home page, mcc4me, you will find the
Emergency Notification Link.
You can call the MCC Information Technology Services Help Desk at
(810) 767-4357 if you have questions or problems with signing up to
receive the emergency alerts.
All MCC students, faculty and staff can receive emergency notification through the existing College voice mail and email systems.
However, only those who have provided the MCC Emergency
Notification System with cell phone information can be contacted
via text messages.
The MCC Emergency Notification System is specifically designed
to enhance campuswide communication through multiple points
of contact. The Emergency Notification System helps MCC
maintain its commitment to ensuring the safety and security of the
College community by taking necessary steps to broaden its reach
of emergency communications.
