SCHOOL ADVISORY COUNCIL FOR MAY 2016 As it is still the season of Easter, Happy Easter again to our St. Herbert family! Thank you to everyone who joined us for our last School Advisory Council with our special guest Trustee L. del Rosario! Our next meeting will be held on Thursday, May 26th. ON BEHALF OF OUR ST. HERBERT FAMILY WE THANK MRS. NATASHA DE MENNA FOR REPRESENTING OUR COMMUNITY WITH THE UPMOST PROFESSIONALISM, AND CARE AS SHE WORKED TIRELESSLY TO PROMOTE ST. HERBERT SCHOOL DURING THE ACCOMMODATION REVIEW PROCESS. MRS. DE MENNA EXPERTLY GUIDED OUR SCHOOL THROUGH MONTHS OF MEETINGS AND WE ARE SO APPRECIATIVE. WE ARE SO GRATEFUL AS WELL FOR THE EFFORTS OF N. MILLS, MR. AND MRS. D’COSTA, J. MOOSIE, F. PAIS AND ST. HERBERT’S VERY OWN MVPS MRS. RAMPERSAD, MRS. DOMBRADY AND EVERYONE’S FAVORITE COACH AND PRINCIPAL MR. MATOS. Congratulations to all the students and their families who will be receiving their First Holy Communion and Confirmation this May. These sacraments are God’s personal gift of Himself to you, and will stay with you always. We especially thank St. Joseph parish Father Marc-Andre, Father Joseph and our teachers Mrs. Salley, Ms. Milczarczyk, Ms. Cristobal and Mr. Munisteri for their guidance, support and prayers in preparing everyone. To celebrate, St. Herbert will host a school party for the students in June. For the past few months, Father Marc our pastor at St. Joseph’s Church has been encouraging every Catholic adult to go to CANADIANSFORCONSCIENCE.CA and TAKE ACTION by writing a respectful letter to your Member of Parliament and telephone his office directly to let him know that all life is sacred. Prayer to Our Blessed Mother, Queen of Heaven and Earth. “O Mary conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee. Amen.”
