We played a guessing game using QR codes, as well as a domino match and I have, who has game to help the students apply their new knowledge to real stories and passages. In math the students are beginning module 5 which teaches them about division. The students will work with fact families to connect how multiplication and division are related. Please continue working on the multiplication facts of 2, 4, 5, and 10 at home. Did you hear that your child is allowed to write in cursive now?!?! The students all passed the cursive test and are enjoying the new challenge of writing in cursive. It is taking them a little more time to write, but with practice, they will increase their speed and accuracy. To go along with our study of stars in science, the students are creating their own constellations. Each student is naming, describing, and drawing their own constellation by using reference books, science books, and their own imagination! Thank you for your generous donations to our needy family. The 3rd grade raised over $600 and we were able to purchase EVERYTHING off their wish list. We also were able to help another family in need- way to go!
