Instructions for French Horn auditions
For the French horn audition, there are two excerpts, both from Aces by Robert W.
Smith.
If you also wish to record scales or a piece of your choosing, feel free, but it is not
necessary.
If one excerpt is too difficult, leave it out. We want to hear you at your best.
The first excerpt is moderately slow (marked Powerful). At /11/, you can choose to
play either the top or bottom line.
The second is fast (marked With Intensity).
