Determination of Curriculum, including needs assessment and curriculum
development
POLICY STATEMENT
Each subject area is responsible for evaluating and revising its curriculum in correlation
with the Kentucky Program of Studies and revealing data gathered from state test results.
These recommendations will be presented to the Consolidated Planning Committee. In
addition to the subject area recommendations the Consolidated Planning Committee will
conduct needs assessments from various sources and thereafter will review and revise
major components of the Consolidated Plan, which will be presented to the council for
their approval.
