Tell me about Harriet Tubman and the
Underground Railroad.
George Washington Carver
discovered many uses for what plant?
Show me how to make $1.00 using
quarters. Now do it with dimes. Now

Writing Workshop: This week was spent on
grammar. We focused on nouns, verbs and
adjectives.
Math: We continued to add money using coins
and bills. We also practiced telling time.
Reading Workshop: We focused on finding nonfiction text features and explaining HOW they
help us read an informational book.

made by Ruby Bridges and Harriet Tubman. We
also learned about the life of George
Washington Carver. One of the many things he
is famous for is finding many uses for the peanut!
