Section 2.06 To stimulate interest in Greek Life and other
university programs.
Article III. MEMBERSHIP
Section 3.01
All undergraduate social fraternities on the Nicholls
State University campus must be members of this Council and adhere
to its decisions.
Section 3.02 to be on the IFC membership roster one must meet
the following criteria:
(a) Be a fulltime undergraduate student; or
(b) Be a married student carrying at least nine credit hours; or
(c) Be a full time employed student enrolled in a specialized degree program (7-7,
nursing, etc.) and carrying at least 9 hours; or
(d) Be a graduating senior carrying less than 12 hours; and
(e) Maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.5. Unless authorized by the Office of Student Life
Section 3.03
Any fraternity colonizing or possessing a charter from
a fraternity recognized by the National Interfraternity Conference
shall have representation as an associate member of the
Interfraternity Council for one semester without the power to vote.
After fulfilling requirements set forth in Section 4 of Article III, a
fraternity shall be recognized as a regular member.
