Section 5.03 A quorum shall consist of a simple majority of Council members empowered to vote under this Constitution. Section 5.04 A vote by secret ballot may be held when called for by any member of the Interfraternity Council. Section 5.05 Meetings shall be conducted according to the parliamentary procedures in Robert's Rules of Order Revised subject to the limitations of the Constitution and the By-Laws. Article VI. AMMENDMENTS TO THE CONSTITUTION AND BY LAWS - Section 6.01 The Interfraternity Council shall be empowered through their legislative capacity enact by-laws to this constitution in the fields of rushing, pledging, initiation, scholarship, social, intramurals, and in all other realms in which the fraternity system as a whole participates. Article VII. ADOPTION BYLAWS Section 7.01 The proposed amendment(s) must be presented at one meeting and voted upon at the next regular meeting. A threefourths (3/4) vote of the Interfraternity Council shall be required for passage. However, the Council, by unanimous vote of the members presents as long as one representative from each fraternity is present, may purpose and adopt amendments at any meeting of the council. Article VIII. ADOPTION DATE The revised Constitution was adopted by each chapter represented by their president. Enforcement will take place on May 1, 2014. 10
