JOB SUMMARY: Provide technical and clerical assistance for Media Production.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Provide clerical and technical support to the Manager of Media
Production and the Media Producers to include, but not limited to,
assimilating information in to the form of a script, maintain file
system, and design print media to support productions.

2. Assist in the coordination of video production including, but not
limited to, the selection of scripts for bi-weekly shows. Maintain
communication with participants and departments regarding
scripts and/or participation.

3. Research and solicit reliable information from a variety of sources
in support of media production projects and the Video Bulletin
Board.

4. Responsible for the coordination and maintenance of information
for the Video Bulletin Board.

5. Assist in actual productions as required.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP: Manager, Media Production
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION: Associate’s Degree
EXPERIENCE: Three (3) years
SPECIAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
1. Skills/Abilities: Excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to research
and assimilate information; good organizational skills, and strong interpersonal skills.
2. Equipment Used: Personal Computer, digital camera, fax, telephone, copier, and
other equipment associated with an office environment.

3. Software Used: Aldus Pagemaker as well as a variety of word-processing,
spreadsheet, database, e-mail, and presentation software.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Duties require little physical effort in work with light (up to 10lbs), easy to handle
materials. Duties performed causes light fatigue of eyes, fingers, or other faculties due
to long periods of standing, sitting, and/or repetitive motion.
INTERPERSONAL SKILLS:
Alternative or combined skills in understanding, directing, and/or influencing people are
important in achieving job objectives, causing action, understanding others, or changing
behavior; and, skills of persuasiveness or assertiveness, as well as sensitivity to the point
of view of others.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Job is performed in general office or comparable working area with occasional
distractions such as noise, interruptions, or congested work areas with exposure to some
disagreeable elements.
