NORTH PENN SCHOOL DISTRICT School Board Policy 9364 BYLAWS OF THE BOARD Methods of Operation Minutes In compliance with the provision of Sections 433 and 508, School Laws of Pennsylvania, the secretary shall keep a complete and accurate set of minutes of each meeting. Minutes shall include a record of official action taken and shall include the date, time, place, names of members present, substance of official action, a record by member of roll call votes, the names of citizens appearing officially, and the subjects presented by each. Minutes shall be maintained in an official record book designated for said purpose. The minutes shall constitute the official record of proceedings of the board of school directors and shall be open to public inspection at all reasonable times after their official approval. Minutes for public board meetings where no official action is taken (referred to as “work sessions”) will be kept on file with the board secretary (or designee). Such minutes are not routinely transcribed, typed, or circulated. Minutes for all regular and special board meetings where official action is taken will be circulated to each member of the board.
