How to Cite your PowerPoint Presentation
Sources (graphics, sounds, photographs) used in PowerPoint presentations must be cited just
like research papers.
First Slide: Must include the Multimedia Fair Use Guideline Statement. (see example below) This
statement shows that you are following the U.S. Copyright Law of 1976. It also tells
viewers of the presentation that they cannot copy/paste from your presentation.
Statement for copy/pasting is on the Library Web Page under Writers Tool Kit —
Academic Honesty.
Last Slide: Works Cited Slide. You may copy/paste your Works Cited from EasyBib into this slide.
