Your introduction goes here. Only the first page should include the whole heading and
title. All margins--top, bottom, and sides--should be set to one inch (1") throughout the whole
paper. Do not add extra spaces between the heading and the title. Double-space all text in the
paper, including the Works Cited page. Use a 12-point font, and choose a font that is easy to read
such as Times New Roman. Make sure your last name and page number appear in the upper
right of every page (including the Works Cited page). Double-click on the page number above
to enter your last name. Once you enter your name on one page, it will be entered automatically
on all subsequent pages.
Second paragraph here is indented. Do not forget to CITE all information.


Works Cited page notes (DELETE this portion before printing your paper):
o Alphabetize entries by first word in the entry (usually author’s last name or first
word of the title if no author is listed)
o Indent all lines of an entry after the first line
o Remember that whatever is listed first in the works cited entry is what should be
in your parenthetical citation in the paper (inside parentheses). So if the title is
the first part of the works cited entry, then you should include the title inside the
parentheses to cite that source. See
