The Foundation held its 14th annual golf outing this Monday and it was a huge success.
There were 128 golfers who, despite the heat, spent the afternoon supporting the
Foundation and our students. Early estimates indicate we raised about $22,000. This
would not be possible without the generous support of our sponsors.
Also this week, Trustees welcomed the school district’s new teachers with a “Rita’s
Water Ice Breaker Sponsored by the Foundation.” It was a chance for the inductees and
their mentors to get to know one another, as well as learning about the Foundation and
the support we provide. Thank you to Rita’s in Lansdale for providing the tasty treat.
At your seat today, board members will find the Foundation’s latest annual report and an
overview of this year’s funded innovative projects. These publications can also be found
online at www.npenn.org/foundation for our community to review.
On behalf of the Foundation, I would like to wish all our educators a wonderful year. We
thank you for inspiring and motivating our students every day.
