Rita Reyes-Williamson’s 20+ years of experience includes operations, de novo & turn-around
projects, as well as team leadership & development across the ambulatory surgery center and
physician practice management industries. She has successfully led Governance, IT, Marketing,
Purchasing, Finance, Project Management and Operations teams throughout her various roles,
including that of President & COO for Surgery One, LLC, a leader in ASC development and
management in Southern California.
More recently, Rita has also been involved in the national move towards surgical bundled payment
models, contributing to two Medicare Innovations Grant Proposals (CMMI Phase 2) in late 2013 – one
sponsored by ASCA and one via Global One Ventures. Rita has also been deeply involved in
advancing total joint replacement into the outpatient setting and often lectures on the topic.
In her current role as President & CEO of NextLevel Health USA, Rita works with companies in need
of strategy development, service line launch, operational execution, risk management and payor
contract negotiations.
Rita earned an MBA in HealthCare Administration in 1994 from National University while working fulltime at the UCSD Department of Orthopaedics. Prior to earning her masters, Rita was a student
athlete (crew) and earned a BS in Microbiology from UCLA in 1990. Rita is an active C-Level member
of Vistage International, and a past member of the National Association of Professional Women.
Aside from a busy work life, Rita leads an equally busy personal life raising her two daughters along
with her husband. While not serving as soccer, lacrosse and girl scout mom, Rita can be found
enjoying time playing soccer with her adult league team and playing guitar with her kids.
