Learn from seasoned faculty with solid experience
Our award-winning faculty includes top professors, experienced executives
and practicing business professionals, all with the same goal in mind:
preparing students for a successful future in the business world. It’s no
wonder the School of Management and Marketing received the Academic
Excellence Award from the University of Northern Colorado Provost in 2011.
“We are dedicated to providing student-centered, high quality teaching.
Our real world atmosphere and perspective is part of the experience that
prepares our students to enter the work force as contributing members of a
management team.”
Isaac Wanasika, Assistant Professor of Management
“Because the classes are small,
you really get to know the faculty.
They have a real desire for
students to succeed and will
put in the time with you, if you
apply yourself.”
Kim Janson, Class of 2011
“The Monfort College
of Business definitely
prepares you for the real
world. The faculty are
accessible and truly care,
the technology you work
with is state-of-theindustry, and the level of
dedication among fellow students was
high. I highly recommend it.”

At the Monfort College of Business, we do business
quite differently
Tyler Smith, Class of 2003
National Account Manager, Otterbox
We have one of the most unique, student-focused business programs
in the country, where you don’t have to be in graduate school to get the
personal attention you deserve. In fact, you’ll share a classroom with an
average of 32 students. You can get involved in a nationally recognized
student club as soon as you want and you’ll get to work on real-world
projects most business schools save for graduate students.

“The classrooms are really high tech, but they’re also a warm learning
environment. I like the smaller classes, too. Even our lecture halls
aren’t too large, so you never feel like an outsider. I feel privileged to
have all my classes in Kepner Hall. Everyone on campus wishes they
had classes there.”
