UCL CENTRE FOR LANGUAGES & INTERNATIONAL EDUCATION Evening Courses Hebrew Level 1 Prerequisite for entry For complete beginners or those who have had only very little contact with the language. Term duration 10 x 2-hour classes. Aims and Objectives The aim of the course is to enable students to function in spoken and written Hebrew at a basic everyday survival level with an emphasis on practical everyday vocabulary and grammar. The course includes practice in all four language skills (speaking, listening, reading and writing) as well as attention to issues specific to Israeli and Jewish culture.
