at the secondary level. Focuses on achieving the purpose of social studies through attention to instruction, planning,
curriculum and assessment. Prerequisite: ADED 32142 and admission to advanced study.

We are updating the course to better align with needs of students who are becoming teachers. We have shifted some
content since we are adding another course and expanded and added some to better meet student learning needs.
