Current Prerequisite/Corequisite/Catalog Description: Designed to provide students with basic knowledge and skills
needed to effectively design and implement instruction for deaf and hard-of-hearing students. Conducted through a
combination of lectures, discussions, demonstrations and group activities. Upon successful completion, students possess
foundational understanding of how to design and implement lessons and curriculum with students who are deaf and hard of
hearing. Prerequisite: SPED 53313 with a minimumg rade of B (3.000); and CI 57501 and 57502; and graduate standing.
Corequisite: 2 credit hours of SPED 63392.
