Changes in social media have brought along changes in the Sport Industry and have created new job opportunities within the field of Sport. Additional guest speakers and class discussion are needed to highlight these new career opportunities. Also due to an increase in class size, from the initial 30 student max to now 60 student max enrollment, more class time is needed for student presentations, group projects and as previously mentioned guest speakers. Explain how this proposal affects program requirements and students in your unit: Due to the increase of credit hours, a program proposal is being submitted that will decrease the number of elective hours from 9 to 8. This change will not have a negative affect on our students and it will maintain the minimum credits required for graduation at 121.
