Part 1 - Electronics

The lighting control console shall provide 6 channels of lighting control.
2.
The console shall have 6 channel faders arranged in a single preset configuration.
3.
The console shall have a master control to adjust the overall output level.
4.
The console shall have side-mounted connectors for the control outputs.
5.
DMX connections shall be made via a 5-pole XLR connector.
6.
The console shall be tested both at assembly and at finished product stages and be soak tested for a minimum of 12 hours.
Part 2 - Operation
1.
The console shall provide indication of the presence of power via a front panel LED.
Part 3 - Electrical
1.
Supply voltage shall be +20 Volts DC.
2.
The console shall draw no more than 20mA.
3.
The console shall derive power from an external mains power supply.
Part 4 - Mechanical
1.
The lighting control console shall be designed to be freestanding, or wall-mounted.
2.
The console shall be 8.7” (222mm) wide, 4.3” (110mm) deep and 2.1” (53mm) in height.
3.
The console shall weigh no more than 1.92 lbs. (0.87 Kg).
4.
The case of the console shall be manufactured from 0.9mm steel, folded to shape.
5.
All metal surfaces shall be properly treated and finished in specialist paint or powder coat.
6.
The back panel shall have 2 keyhole openings for wall mounting.
7.
Front panel details shall be screen-printed.
8.
All operator controls and displays shall be provided on the top operating surface of the console.
