Notification IBS-3121 Integrated Base Station Provides secure activation of audible and visual messages and status monitoring of WAVES Mass Notification System (MNS). Description Designed to protect, alert and inform people of what to do before, during and after an emergency, the WAVES® Integrated Base Station (IBS) is a sophisticated Central Control System with an easy-to-use, GIS-based Graphical User Interface (GUI). It can operate as a stand-alone system or be integrated with other life-safety and security systems such as fire alarm, access control and intrusion detection systems for improved situational awareness. Through a secure digital wireless communications network, WAVES MNS delivers announcements originating from the IBS via digital Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum (FHSS) @ 2.4 GHz. The IBS issues commands, provides data messages, and monitors the status of WAVES transceivers (TRX-401). The IBS can be field-programmed by a system administrator to execute pre-scripted, automated responses to user input, commands from C2 systems or WAVES network events. Such events include playing of pre-recorded audible messages, activation of text messages and strobes as well as sending messages to other connected systems. From Wide-area and In-building MNS activation to distribution of text messages, the IBS ensures that you get the right message to the right person at the right time.
