categories. The price increase will average 2-6%.
Cooper Power Systems delivers industry solutions for extended life equipment, reduced downtime, improved
end-user satisfaction, and enhanced automation and efficiency, all helping you serve your customers reliably.
This price increase is required to ensure Cooper Power Systems continues to offer you valuable
enhancements and new product offerings through our market-leading Research & Development efforts and to
ensure volatile market conditions are accounted for.
As we continue to invest in new products, we also continue to invest in quality and service improvements
across all product lines and within our Customer Service departments. We have many new products and
industry leading solutions planned for 2013. You will learn more about the 2013 activities as the year

Key points related to these price changes:
Valid quotes with firm prices will be unaffected by this price action.
Cooper Power Systems retains the right to limit order quantities based upon historical ordering
Cooper Power Systems will continue utilizing a price index model to communicate key material cost
changes on existing contracts.
The price index model will continue to be used for new contracts to offer a competitive price while
sharing risk against the volatility of commodities.
Cooper Power Systems will honor open quotations and blanket proposals until the agreed upon
expiration date.
