College of Arts and Sciences (AAS) Proposal to Revise Program Department of African American Studies (AAS) (PLSC) 11-10-11: The proposal to revise the program was Tabled Unanimously on 10 November 2011: “so that the current program description and statement on impacts can be included. The current program includes restricted electives from History and Literature, requiring input from those units, and the proposal does not indicate how the current electives in ANTH, CTAR, ECON, GEOG, HIST, PLSC, and PSY will fit into the proposed new program. A memo on the department name change should be sent to the Dean.” 1-12-12: Motion to table because none of the concerns from the prior tabling were addressed: Tabled Unanimously Request for New Course PLSC 346 International Political Economy B. College of Business Proposals to Revise Programs MBA—Management Specialization Graduate Certificate in Entrepreneurship and MBA Specialization in Entrepreneurship 2-09-12: Both of the above proposals were tabled by unanimous vote because they are incomplete. The MGA proposal included no description of the current program. The other two revisions were included on one form and neither provided enough information about its relationship to the other. C. College of Health and Human Services Request for New Course DTC 258 American Regional Foods 2-09-12: The above course was tabled unanimously. Comment: Anthropology might want to examine this proposal. The catalog description should not simply reproduce the rationale. IV. New Business A.
