Cascade Computers Available for Departmental Use
The Division of I.T. provides cascade (trickle down) computers to departments at no cost. Departments may
request cascade computers for student employees, GAs, lecturers, or part-time staff members
who are not eligible through the Computer Refresh Program (CRP).
These computers are systems that were returned to the I.T. Help Desk through the CRP and are securely erased
and reimaged before being assigned to a department through the Cascade program.
If you are interested in obtaining a cascade computer for your department, go to the I.T. Forms Library and click
on the Cascade Request Form link. Then complete the Cascade Request Form and click the ‘Submit’ button to
send it to the I.T. Help Desk.
If a computer is not immediately available, your request will be placed on a wait list. Requests are filled on a firstcome, first-served basis.
