Leadership trust and buy-in
Leaders need to earn the stakeholder trust to effectively cascade the organisation’s vision;
however, trust alone is insufficient to effectively cascade the vision. In addition to trust, leaders
need to demonstrate that the stakeholders’ views are well understood, and they are
incorporated in the vision (Antonakis & Hooijberg, 2007).
