Westridge/Allenbrook
STORM DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENT PROJECT

Construction continues for Charlotte-Mecklenburg Storm Water Services’
Westridge/Allenbrook Storm Drainage Improvement Project. The pipe work
on Westcliff Drive, Westridge Drive, Lanewood Place, Allenbrook Drive and
Willard Street is complete. The channel stabilization is complete on Westridge
Drive, Lanewood Place, Ranch Road and Willard Street.
In the next few months, the contractor will perform some channel
stabilization work between Marble Street and Interurban Avenue. Once
complete, crews should start clearing the channel and doing some channel
stabilization work downstream of Allenbrook.
As stream channel work progresses, we will be putting up yard fence and
restoring the yards along the channel as it is being built.
