Charlotte-Mecklenburg Storm Water Services held a public
meeting for the Westridge/Allenbrook Storm Drainage
Improvement Project on December 14th at the Bette Rae
Thomas Recreation Center.
• Mr. Nussman briefly explained the details of the real estate
phase, such as the length of the overall process, coordination by the real estate agent and types of information
residents would be receiving.
The meeting presented general project information and
discussed proposed improvements for the storm drainage
system located within your neighborhood. Meeting highlights:

• Chad Nussman, Project Manager, introduced the project
team and briefly reviewed the project scope and goals.
• Ron Geiger, HDR Project Manager, presented the project
history, area extents and types of improvements.
• Mr. Geiger also discussed the existing conditions and
proposed improvements.
• Breakout sessions were held for neighborhood residents
to review the construction plans to better understand
the improvements and easement acquisitions on their
property.
