Westridge/Allenbrook
STORM DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENT PROJECT

January 2014
Construction continues for Charlotte-Mecklenburg Storm Water Services’
Westridge/Allenbrook Storm Drainage Improvement Project. The pipe work
on Westcliff Drive, Westridge Drive, Lanewood Place, Allenbrook Drive and
Willard Street is complete. The channel stabilization is complete on Westridge
Drive, Lanewood Place, Ranch Road, Willard Street, Interurban and Marble St.
In the next few months, the contractor will perform some channel
stabilization repair work between Marble Street and Interurban Avenue.
Crews will begin channel stabilization work downstream of Allenbrook Drive,
this is the last phase of the project.
We are in planting season, so plantings are being installed along streams on
Westridge Drive, Lanewood Place, Ranch Road, Willard Street, Interurban
Avenue, Marble Street and Allenbrook Drive.
