your storm water fees at work
Dear Resident:
Charlotte-Mecklenburg Storm Water Services held a
third public meeting on Tuesday, March 25 at Holy Trinity
Lutheran Church. The purpose of the meeting was to
present and discuss the preliminary design of storm
drainage improvements within the neighborhood and
initiate the Real Estate Acquisition Phase.
Meeting highlights:
• Project Manager William Harris welcomed the
attendees, introduced the project team and gave a
project summary.
• Mr. Harris noted the construction plans are
approximately 70% complete. As part of the real estate
acquisition phase, Real Estate agents will be contacting
all affected property owners to discuss the project and
any temporary or permanent easements needed.
• Greg Van Hoose, City’s Senior Real Estate Agent, briefly
described the City’s Real Estate process and noted that
agents will be contacting affected property owners
soon to schedule appointments to discuss the project,
specific impacts to their property, and the documents
utilized with acquisition.
• A question/answer session was held.
