water quality enhancement project

Dear Resident:
February 2012
On December 12 City Council awarded the
construction contract for the Betty Coleman
Pond Project to On-Site Development, LLC, with
work scheduled to start later this month. The
project will rebuild the failed dam and install new
drainage pipe and spillway to keep the pond in
place and preserve the water quality benefits.
As part of construction, soil from the old dam
will be removed and replaced with new soil. As a
result, you will see trucks carrying this soil to and
from the site.
