UNDER CONSTRUCTION McDonald Pond RESTORATION PROJECT May 2012 Dear Resident: Charlotte-Mecklenburg Storm Water Services began construction of the McDonald Pond Restoration Project in May. The contractor, Blythe Development, is making steady progress on the proposed pond improvements, including: 1. Temporarily draining the pond and relocating approximately 1,000 fish. 2. Installing new outlet control structures and spillway. 3. Installing a new headwall on the existing culvert under Lake Drive. The completion of the dam rehabilitation is on schedule to meet the September 2012 deadline. If you have any construction questions, please contact Brad Loveland.
