storm drainage improvement project
YOUR STORM WATER FEES AT WORK
Dear Resident:
Charlotte-Mecklenburg Storm Water Services has completed
their review of the preliminary design plans. The project
team will be working with consulting engineers W.K. Dickson
and Associates to prepare the easement plats for the start
of the real estate phase. Easements are needed for the City
to perform construction activities outside of the right-ofway. All property owners will be contacted to set up a short
meeting to review the easements needed for construction
and to discuss what will happen during construction.
Storm Water Services is currently on schedule as it proceeds
with the design phase of the project.
Next Steps:
• Start easement documents
• Obtain construction permits from federal, state and
local agencies
• Finalize design plans
• Begin construction
As a property owner, if you would like to provide input
regarding the project, please feel free to fill out a survey
form on the project webpage. Your input is appreciated.
