Narrative: On November 24, 2002, officers were called to a shooting that occurred at 905 Pineville Point. Prior
to the shooting, calls had come in reference to a confrontation between the occupants of two vehicles. The
vehicles eventually pulled over and there is a physical confrontation between the suspect and the victim, Alan
Patrick Valdez. The victim’s brother separated the two, but as the suspect was driving away, he fired several
shots back at the victim striking him in the arm. The victim was pronounced dead on the scene.
