A Non-Mandatory Proposer’s Conference is scheduled for Tuesday, June 9th from

10:30–11:30am – EST. The meeting will be held at the Airport’s CLT Center, 5601

Wilkinson Boulevard, Charlotte, N.C. 28208. All Proposers are encouraged to attend.

What level of passenger and cargo market analysis will be required for this study or has the analysis been conducted as part of the recent master plan?

Passenger and cargo market analysis is not required for this Development Strategy.

2.

Will passenger and cargo forecasts be provided or will they be developed as part of this study?

Passenger and cargo forecasts can be provided as necessary.

3.

Is it ok to submit as a team? In order to provide the most comprehensive solutions to the stated needs, it may be necessary to present a team comprised of more than one entity.

Yes, it is acceptable to submit as a team. To facilitate team creation, please see the

“Intent to Submit” form at the end of this document.

4.

You have specified that all GIS needs to be compatible with your systems. Can you please describe these and also specify the exact data file formatting requirements?

File geodatabase (.gdb directories) is preferred, if not, shape files

Can you please specify an estimate or guidelines on the project budget so that we may scope to the appropriate level of detail?

To be determined

What level of environmental analysis are your expecting?

Environmental analysis will be provided from the concurrent Dixie River Road /

Garrison Road Project.

7.

Are you open to suggestions regarding the public involvement process to increase its effectiveness?

Yes, the Consultant is expected to recommend creative strategies to attain high levels of public engagement.

8.

What level of marketing and branding assistance are you seeking? Is this intended to be a comprehensive re-branding exercise for the airport, or is it for communications and outreach for the project alone?

The Development Strategy is not intended to be a comprehensive re-branding exercise for the Airport. An outline of CLT’s key marketing message and conceptual marketing and branding of the Study Area represented in Exhibit A is expected as part of Task 4. Public communications and outreach specific to and supporting the Development Strategy are expected as part of Task 5.

9.

Can you describe the methodology that resulted in the selection of the specific Study

Area?

The Study Area was defined as part of a negotiation between public stakeholders considering concurrent public and private planning activities, proximity to CLT, and perceived development potential.

10.

Do the cover page and tabbed dividers count towards the 25 page limit?

Yes

11.

Do the CBI and commercial non-discrimination forms count towards the 25 page limit?

Yes

12.

The selection criteria on page 10 includes attachment 3, and on page 12 the selection criteria is under tab 3; however it is also directly requested under tab 5. Is it sufficient to only include that form in tab 5?

Yes, an executed Attachment 3 should be included in tab 5.
