My Achievements: I was voted Vice House Captain and I have taken
part in inter house games. I have won HT and Star Awards. I moved
school in March but feel I have settled in really well to my new
school. I went on a residential trip to London. The London Eye was my
favourite! Out of school I play golf every weekend and also play
football. I used to go to BBs and I got best boy 2009-10, and drill
boy. I enjoy taking part in after school clubs and was part of the
football team and netball team. We played another school at netball
and won 12-0! In class I can work independently but I also enjoy
working as part of a team.
Literacy and English
Numeracy and mathematics
English isn’t my favourite subject, but I
enjoy writing stories. I can use accurate
punctuation and good vocabulary. I have
completed good imaginative and personal
work and my teacher has commented on my
style and content. I like reading books as
long as they are funny. I also read fact
books to get information for other subjects
and for my own interest. I think I am doing
well in Literacy and English and I use my
Literacy skills in all areas of the curriculum
such as report writing for science and topic
work. I like doing solo talks as well and feel
confident about talking to larger audiences.
My best solo talk was about my holiday in
Brittany.
I like maths. I enjoy doing practical
maths, such as weighing and measuring. I
enjoy (for some reason) doing jotter
work, as long as it’s a challenge. My work
is neat and accurate. In my transition
test I got 98% or 42/43 marks. I can
apply my number skills to new problems. I
know that you need numeracy skills in
other things such as science and
architecture. That is what I want to be
when I grow up, an architect.
Health and Wellbeing
Across the Curriculum
I play a lot of sport in and out of school; I
play football, golf, netball, basketball, tennis
and badminton. My favourite is golf which I
play every week & I have taken part in
competitions at my local golf club. I play
football with my friends and my little
brother. Sport keeps me fit! I understand
that I need to have a healthy diet. I also
know how to keep safe. I enjoy spending
time with my family and

Our topic right now is Band Hero, which is
my favourite topic ever. I think I’m good at
it. I have good co ordination and enjoyed the
challenges in the topic of planning a tour. I
worked well with my group to complete the
challenges. I am very good at I.C.T. & I have
made good power points. I enjoy art and I
think I made a good pop art picture of
Winnie the Pooh. I like drama too. I was in
the school play as Joseph.
