Join the Intercollegiate Media Studies program, the Pomona College De- partment of Religious Studies, the Kravis Leadership Institute (CMC), the Center for Human Rights Leadership (CMC), and the Intercollegiate Feminist Center for one of the first ever college screenings of Honor Diaries. Friday, March 7th, Benson Auditorium, Avery Hall, Pitzer College 7pm-10pm Honor Diaries features nine courageous women’s rights advocates with connections to Muslim-majority societies. These women, who have witnessed firsthand the hardships women endure, are profiled in their efforts to affect change, both in their communities and beyond. We are screening the film to celebrate Interna- tional Women’s Day on Saturday, March 8th. After the screening, there will be a panel discussion with Raquel Saraswati (pictured left), Co-Producer Heidi Basch-Harod, and CGU Associate Professor of Religion Ruqayya Kahn. There will be light refreshments.
