Description The chosen candidate will drive the development of new radio remote control products as well as the redesign of existing ones. He/she will translate customer requests into a product specification including mechanical layouts; electrical schematics and will of materials. The chosen candidate will develop product specific control software to meet application requirements and will provide technical assistance to customers and product after sales service. The job comprises of occasional travelling to customers to support development activity or debugging of product related issues and all other ancillary duties in line with business exigencies. Requirements Requires a Bachelor's Degree in mechatronics or electrical engineering or proven experience in related product development role. Proficient in 2D CAD modelling. Solid experience in electrical installations for mobile industrial equipment. Experience in bus communication protocols would be a plus. Solid understanding of electronics, machine control and RF communications technology. Excellent fault finding skills. Creative self starter. A strong character with excellent leadership and communication skills. Ability to perform a variety of tasks with little to no supervision. Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
