Description: Methode Electronics is looking for an embedded Software Engineer to work in the Hetronic Engineering Department and will be responsible for software development for embedded applications, together with a team of hardware engineers. The chosen candidate will be responsible for developing software for custom designed solutions in the automotive sector. Typical applications are sensors, user vehicle interface (touch screens, infotainment, HVAC control, etc) and in vehicle communication (LIN, CAN, Flexray). In-house training will be provided for Hetronic specific protocols/standards and design requirements. Candidates who have at least three years experience in programming will be preferred. The chosen candidate must be willing to work in a team environment and capable to take the lead on the software portion of a project Requirements A Bachelor‘s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computing Science. Previous experience in Programming will be considered an asset. Sound knowledge of electronics and hands on approach. Good interpersonal skills and a positive team approach. Excellent Communication skills. Sound Presentation techniques. Personal Qualities of drive, energy and enthusiasm. Ability to analyze in detail and an eye for detail.
