Sesario Escoto – The student trustee and advisory report was my favorite because there is a state title that
addresses this. With regards to veterans, the title is great, we should think to ourselves, why they have to pay out of
state tuition when they protect the nation, they should be supported. Its nice to see that the Student senate shirt has
been getting more senators wearing them. Social Justice Conference went very well and the food justice become a
reality and it was nice to see.
Flor Chacòn – Election debates are happening next week. Tuesday in Watsonville and Wednesday in Aptos. Please
attend if you do not have class. The following week will be voting week and write memos in classrooms. Remind
students to check e-mails and that it will also be on the main Cabrillo website. Remember that the students that vote
will be entered into the iPad drawing.
