Justice & Law SPA’s BA in Justice & Law, with concentrations in criminal justice or criminology, allows students to analyze the foundations, functions, policies, and procedures of justice. Crime and deviance are serious public policy concerns, and justice systems are the primary public policy responses in dealing with these issues. Cross-cultural and international perspectives are brought to bear when they shed light on the nature of crime and deviance. Law & Society SPA’s BA in Law concentrations in the humanities or social sciences, is an interdisciplinary program that examines the role of law in relation to social, political, and economic institutions. Drawing on the social sciences and humanities, this curriculum offers an historical and international perspective of legal issues. Political Science SPA’s BA in Political Science program focuses on government and public affairs as an aspect of a broad liberal arts education. It prepares the student for an enlightened role in national, community, and world affairs. This program provides a foundation in American Politics, Comparative Politics, Political Theory, and World\ Politics. From this foundation, you can choose from the six concentrations offered: American Government; Comparative Politics; Gender, Race & Politics; Law & Politics; Policy; and Political Theory.
