ECEPD120 – Northampton CC Date: Tues., 1/5/16 through Tues., 1/26/16 – 6 hours over a three week period, with a one hour LIVE webinar on Tues., 1/12/16 from 1-2 pm, access to Blackboard 24/7 Date: Mon., 1/18/16 through Mon., 2/1/16 – 3 hours over a two week period, access to Blackboard 24/7 Description: Explore how to intentionally use objective observations to plan for responsive developmentally appropriate interactions with children that will enhance their experiences in a quality classroom environment. Also explore how to efficiently document observations during the busy times in an early childhood day. This online 6 hour training meets the STAR 2 requirement for 2 hours in child observation. Description: Learn new information about brain development and how it is impacted by attachment. Explore the gender differences that impact brain development & how this might inform your practice with infants & toddlers. Discover new ideas about critical time periods in infant-toddler brain development in order to support their growth & development.
