Eligibility: Must be working at a DPW licensed/regulated facility associated within the NE Regional Key
Region which includes Berks, Bradford, Bucks, Carbon, Columbia, Lackawanna, Lehigh, Luzerne,
Lycoming, Monroe, Northampton, Pike, Schuylkill, Sullivan, Susquehanna, Tioga, Wayne and Wyoming
counties. Participants must validate themselves on the PA Key Intranet website before enrolling.

Description: Explore how to intentionally use objective observations to plan for responsive developmentally
appropriate interactions with children that will enhance their experiences in a quality classroom environment. Also
explore how to efficiently document observations during the busy times in an early childhood day. Meets the STAR 2
requirement for 2 hours in child observation.

NE Key Funded Program Fee: Fall 2015-Spring 2016 Offerings $7.00 fee for two hours, $14.00 fee for 3-4
