The faculty voted to approve the April 25, 2012 meeting minutes. II. The following items were recommended by the Committee on Academic Priorities and approved by the faculty A. Curricular items as listed on the CAP document 1. Experimental Topics Course and Topics as Permanent Offerings DAN 300 Study in Dance Technique and Performance Topic: Independent Investigation Topic: Contemporary Dance and Improvisation Topic: Intermediate and Advanced Ballet Technique Topic: Hip Hop Culture and Movement Topic: West African Dance and Drumming 2. New Concentration (Effective 2012-13) Global Financial Institutions Concentration (GFX) 3. Curricular Changes Dual Prefix for PSY 210 Introduction to Neuroscience to PSY 210/NSC 210 Introduction to Neuroscience SOC 333 Social Justice, the Corporation and the Environment form experimental to permanent status III. The faculty voted to approve the new section V. of the Policy of Appointment, Reappointment, Promotion, and Tenure as proposed by the Committee on Tenure and Promotion (with renumbering of subsequent sections). IV. The faculty voted to recommend to the Board of Trustees that the Baccalaureate degree be conferred upon the students on the official list on file in the Registrar’s Office with the qualifications and omissions noted. V. The faculty voted to recommend to the Board of Trustees that the degree with Departmental Honors and/or Latin Honors be conferred upon the students on the official list on file in the Registrar’s Office. VI. The faculty voted to recommend to the Board of Trustees the awarding of the following diplomas and degrees: 12 Master of Education of the Deaf, 14 Certificate of Study, 9 Diploma in American Studies, 13 Master of Science, 24 Master of Arts in Teaching, and 6 Master of Fine Arts.
