OVERVIEW
American University’s Kogod School of Business Master of Science in Accounting (MSA)
Program prepares graduates for successful careers through its innovative curriculum,
award-winning faculty, and outstanding career development services.
The MSA is perfect for those with or without an accounting background interested in
advancing or changing careers. Graduates go on to work for prestigious accounting
firms, major corporations, nonprofits, the government, and are prepared to sit for
the CPA exam. The Kogod School of Business is a proud partner of the Association
of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) USA. Students completing their MSA may
qualify for six exam exemptions toward completing their ACCA certification.
