Payment
There are two ways to pay for KSI. Please make check or money order payable to American
University, and send to Abby Moreau, Kogod School of Business, American University, 4400
Massachusetts Avenue NW, Washington, DC 20016. To pay by credit card, please contact Abby Moreau
at 202-885-6693 with your credit card information. Please note that payments are processed through
Student Accounts and are subject to any penalties levied by that office.

$300 non-refundable deposit is due by May 1st in order to reserve student’s spot

Full payment must be received by June 15, 2015
Cancellation and Refund
To receive a refund you must send notice of cancellation to ksi@american.edu by July 1, 2015. The
$300 nonrefundable deposit will not apply. After July 1, 2015 there will be no refunds.
Housing, Dining, and After Hours
AU’s Office of Housing and Dining Programs offers student accommodations; however, on-campus
residency is not required. Students living on campus will reside in double-occupancy rooms with an onsite resident staying on the same floor. Each air-conditioned room contains two twin-sized beds, two
desks, two chairs, two secure closets, and linens. After-hour activities are planned for the students.
The program fee includes the costs of housing (if student stays on campus), on-campus dining, and
after-hours activities.
Logistics
Check-In:
Students living on campus must arrive and check-in on Sunday, August 2 between 1-3pm at the Kogod
School of Business front desk. Commuter students must arrive and check in on Sunday, August 2
between 3-4pm at the Kogod School of Business. Orientation is mandatory and will begin at 4pm for all
students.
Presentations:
The closing ceremony and final presentations will be held on Friday, August 7 at 3:30pm-6:00pm. Family
and friends are encouraged to attend.
Check-Out:
Students check out of housing on Friday, August 7 by 8:30am and bring their belongings to the Kogod
School of Business, where they will be kept in a locked room for the remainder of the day. Belongings
can be retrieved after the closing ceremony on August 7.
Professionalism
The KSI is another step towards each student's professional career. As such students will be coached
through professional behaviors by the KCCD team, as well as, conducting themselves with maturity in all
events. If a student is caught leaving campus after curfew or not following rules and regulations set forth
at the beginning of the week, their parents will be contact immediately and they will be dismissed from
the program with no refund.
