American University’s Kogod School of Business Professional MBA (PMBA) Program
was created for working professionals seeking to advance their career. The
comprehensive, cohort-based program allows you to complete your MBA in 27
months by taking one course at a time and attending class one evening per week.
Carefully sequenced courses build your knowledge in all areas of business and
broaden key skills to manage people and projects. The PMBA features all-inclusive
concierge-style services with one cost that includes tuition, an international travelstudy experience, all course materials, an iPad, and dinner before classes.
Designed with an emphasis on general management and applied learning, the
curriculum merges theory and practice in a participative environment. Group projects
and an international business experience strengthen knowledge and proficiency
in understanding the opportunities and challenges today’s organizations face. The
program delivers a blended approach to learning that includes classroom sessions,
