Position Announcement American University Kogod School of Business Term Faculty Position in Cybersecurity Governance and Risk Management The Department of Information Technology and the Kogod Cybersecurity Governance Center (KCGC) invite applications for a term faculty position in cybersecurity governance and cyber risk management. Position is open immediately and will remain open until it is filled. The mission of the KCGC is to promote responsible governance in the preparation for, prevention and detection of, and response to cybersecurity breaches. Qualifications. The requirements for this position are a Ph.D. or a Masters degree with equivalent work experience in Cybersecurity Governance and Enterprise Cyber Risk Management. A track record of teaching excellence is preferred. Professional publication experience and evidence of research in scholarly journals are a plus. Experience in administering cybersecurity governance programs is also desirable. Responsibilities. Split between 1) developing and teaching cybersecurity and information technology courses and 2) research, writing and educational services for the Kogod Cybersecurity Governance Center. Service participation in department, KCGC, school, and university activities are also required. Application.
