Indian Oil Corporation Ltd aims to reach a refining
capacity of 9-10 mt in this fiscal at its 15 mt crude oil
refinery at Paradeep, as reported by Business
Standard.
Four years after acquiring Fidelity Mutual Fund in
March 2012, L&T Finance Holdings is considering
selling stake to a foreign partner, as reported by
Business Standard.
JK Tyre has reported a 9% y-o-y growth in net profit
for the quarter ended March 31, 2016. Net sales,
however, declined marginally to Rs 1,481 crore, as
reported by Economic Times.
Strides Shasun has decided to divest the company's
UK arm Shasun Pharma Solutions Ltd to its current
management for an enterprise value of GBP 25 million
(over Rs 240 crore), as reported by Economic Times.
Tata Coffee firm posted 12.55% fall in consolidated
net profit to Rs 34.47 crore in fourth quarter of the
2015-16 fiscal due to higher expenses, as reported by
Economic Times.
Brigade Enterprises on May 16 reported a 20%
increase in its consolidated net profit at Rs 41 crore for
the quarter ended March, as reported by Economic
Times.

Incumbent governments are likely to be thrown out in
favour of the Opposition in the just-concluded
Assembly elections in four states and one Union
Territory, if exit polls are any indication. The notable
exception being West Bengal, where Mamata
Banerjee's Trinamool Congress continues to hold
sway, as reported by Business Standard.
Petrol price was hiked by 83 paisa a litre and diesel by
Rs 1.26 per litre on Monday, the second increase in
rates this month. Rates were last hiked by Rs 1.06 a
litre on petrol and Rs 2.94 a litre on diesel on May 1,
as reported by Economic Times.
