Tracking trends through N# search. Difficult to track all aircraft
Suggest an automated by aircraft query through the safecom system, that alerts safety personnel
when more than X maintenance safecoms are filed.
Vendor participation in the safecom discussed. All vendors view the safecom as punitive
Airspace issues discussed.
Krassel accident discussed.
Suggest lessons learned scenario for aviation related accidents to start with line officers.

Steve Smith
New contracting options for light helicopters being looked into. Thresholds being looked into. We
need to insure that we maintain interagency cooperation, as in make sure that we are talking
before making changes that could effect our joint operations. Will be setting standards for pilot
checks Working with LE ops. ARA limit for 2007 is $100,000.
BLM. Brad
Discussed flight hours nationally and for Oregon. Potential budget cuts for 2008. BLM aviation
assets are national. Cost efficiency for rotorcraft software/web site PPE for ATGS ops. IAT
bridge to IQCS evolving.
Question associated with agency standards from Ken Snell
Check with Dewitz as far as PPE standards for ATGS.
Suggestion from Ken to provide info to line to help them, bullet statements.
USFW. Will have a SEAT this year.

Safety
SEAT being lead by leadplane topic, what is the standard? Leadplane pilots being asked to lead
by the SEAT pilots. Single engine verses twin engine ops for ATGS and leadplane study.
